Where is GasPay available?
GasPay is currently only available in Techiman, Ghana. We hope to expand to additional locations, including Accra.
How do I sign up for GasPay?
Android users can download the GasPay app from the Google Play Store to create a free account. For iPhone users, the app will be available soon. GasPay is also accessible on any mobile device through USSD by dialing *844*22#. Both the app and USSD will guide you step-by-step through the registration process. You’ll be asked to provide basic details like your name, location, fuel use, and household size. You’ll also set a personal PIN to secure your account.

Does it cost anything to use GasPay?
There is no cost associated with signing up for GasPay. To order LPG, you need to top up your GasPay wallet from your mobile money wallet (Zeepay, MTN, Telecel Cash, etc.). Standard fees associated with mobile money transactions (e.g., 1%) will apply. These will be displayed with the total prior to payment confirmation.
What are the benefits to consumers of joining GasPay?
The main benefits of GasPay for LPG consumers are: 1) the GasPay dedicated savings wallet, where consumers can save for LPG purchases; 2) savings rewards linked to deposits made into the GasPay wallet and redeemable for LPG purchases.
How is GasPay different from buying LPG with mobile money or with other digital currencies?
GasPay makes purchasing LPG easier with mobile money and quick cylinder exchanges (no more waiting in line for a refill). GasPay helps consumers save for an LPG purchase by having a dedicated savings wallet. Consumers can check the gas prices on cylinders on the platform. GasPay reduces the cost of an LPG cylinder through savings bonuses.
Do I need to set up a Zeepay wallet to use GasPay?
No, but you need to have a mobile money wallet or be willing to set up one. If you have any questions, go to your nearest depot and speak with the manager.
What happens to the savings in my GasPay wallet if GasPay is shut down?
In the event that GasPay discontinues operations, users will be notified in advance and given the opportunity to withdraw their savings. You may transfer your funds to a mobile money account or a Zeepay wallet, which can be cashed out at a Zeepay kiosk. Please note that bonuses are not transferable and can only be used for LPG purchases while the service is active.
Is a bank account required to use GasPay?
No, a bank account is not required to use GasPay. GasPay has integrated with Zeepay, a mobile money provider, to streamline transactions.
